I had a chronic issue with a pet recently, which involved several visits in a row. each visit would involve perhaps taking a stool sample, taking a lab test, etc. i understand the first visit involving an "exam fee " but if you 're just going in for a two minute test that already costs $35, it seems excessive to add an office visit every time (basically bumping the cost of the test up to $65 with the non-existent exam!). i feel like these practices are unethical and stop a lot of animals from getting the care they need. it seems like most people who come in just pay it without batting an eye. does it seem wrong to you?
